Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Reg is a highly accomplished entrepreneur, marketing, communications and strategic planning professional.
Reg is currently President & Managing Director of a diversified services company in Shanghai, China, with his business partner. He played school and club (Otahuhu) rugby in New Zealand as a young boy.
A former Senior Vice President for the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawai’i for five years, he is widely recognized for major national U.S. events he conceived, organized and implemented. His particular strength is in the area of event marketing and creating local, national and international “buzz” for major events he is involved in.
Reg was a newspaper reporter (U.S.) for Hawai’i’s two largest daily newspapers and an award-winning investigative reporter at Hawai’i’s largest business paper. In 12 years, he served as a reporter, editor, managing editor and publisher for various publications in New Zealand, Tahiti, Samoa and the United States.
Co-Founder, Executive Vice President and Tournament Chairman
McKay is Hawai’i’s most prominent organizer of youth rugby events and tournaments. He was a former Rugby head coach at Brigham Young University- Hawai’i (BYU-Hawai’i) for two years and was the Hawai’i’s first official IRB certified instructor to train and certify referees. The training occurred about eight years ago in Las Vegas and was conducted by a representative from IRB headquarters.
In 2005, he started the first-ever official annual youth rugby tournament in Hawai’i called the Aloha Youth 7's with participating teams from Hawai’i, U.S. mainland, New Zealand and Canada. This tournament has operated successfully over the past eight years and continues today. In 2007, he introduced high school girl’s rugby for the first time in the 3rd Annual Aloha 7's tournament.
In his current position as Vice President of Adult Friends for Youth (AFY), McKay’s passion is to develop youth in all aspects of their lives using various forms of rugby – Sevens Rugby, Touch Rugby and regular tackle rugby. He recently organized a Flag Rugby league for younger children to great reviews.
McKay grew up playing rugby in New Zealand in school and club (Ponsonby) in Auckland. He continued playing in college at BYU-Hawai’i for four years where their team won three State Titles. He also played for the Hawai’i All Stars team that tackled the French National Team in Hawai’i during a stopover.
Carolyne Craig Schwenke
Co-Founder, Senior Vice President, Event Management and Global Sourcing
Carolyne has over 30 years experience in business development, sponsorship and coordinating international events. She owned and operated more than five successful businesses over 24 years in her native New Zealand before relocating to China.
She conducted business in China for over 10 years before she established her business there in 2007 as the company’s Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
As a result of excellent relationships she developed, Carolyne was invited by Jiangsu Province government officials to establish her business in China. They approved a 20-year Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE) business license which allowed her company to conduct business in seven specialized areas of commerce: International Business, Education, Immigration, Financial Investments, Technology, Travel and Environmental Management.
Her areas of expertise include finance, sales, human resources, international relationships, marketing, accounts and negotiations.
Carolyne will focus on business branding for robust growth of the company in terms of revenue and net profits. She will coordinate new development projects for the Aloha World Sevens (AWS).
Vice President Information Technology & Creative Design
Eric is an award winning designer with more than 25 years experience in all levels of graphic design work in the wholesale, retail, advertising and network marketing industries, specializes in print, web and interactive design. He was born and raised in California.
Eric relocated to the Wasatch Front of Utah to pursue his degree and career as a graphic designer. Graduating from Provo College with honors, he worked for some high profile companies like Twinlab, Natures Herbs, Nu Skin Enterprises and Solution X / iCentris.
Eric also owns and operates studio853, a design studio specializing in all phases of graphic design from packaging, product displays, brochures, banners, flyers, web sites, UI / UX, mobile apps, catalogs and more. His top-level skill set and talents has been sought after by high profile companies such as ToysRUs, Cannondale, Diadora, Chicago Skates, NSG, Playmind LTD., VibraWav and Pocket Disc.
Eric is very active in the community as a volunteer on various projects, attending sporting events, serving as a youth sports coach and traveling with family. He also donates time to help with graphic design needs to promote BYU’s National Championship Rugby Team. It was a great honor for Eric to serve as a volunteer for the 2002 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
For the past 10 years Eric has served as Director of Graphic Design for totalbluesports.com — the most popular independent online subscription site and magazine dedicated to BYU sports.
General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer
Keoki graduated from the William Howard Taft School of Law and majored in Finance, with a minor in Accounting, at the Universityof Utah.
He worked as a controller and as a managing officer in various industries and as a partner in several law firms. His legal practiceexperience, which is now in its third decade, focuses on contract, business formation, finance and tax law. He spent several years in the American Bar Association’s Taxation Section, serving on a subcommittee on international taxation.
Keoki is the founder of Isles of the Sea Productions (movies and television); It’s More Than Just Numbers (marketing, public relations and business consulting) and Wallace Associates Group (attorneys at law).
He also serves as Chairman of the Board and President of the Ko’olauloa Educational Alliance Corporation, a non-profit corporation, which services Kahuku High School (Hawaii) and feeder school areas. A great team player and leader, he believes his greatest achievements are yet to come.
